Chi-Village - Ujamaa Kwanzaa Celebration, 12/29/25

Location: Malcolm X College

Date: Monday, Dec. 29th

Time: 12PM- 4PM

In partnership with Malcolm X College, Chi-Village presents the Ujamaa Kwanzaa Celebration on December 29th, centered on the enduring power of community, collaboration, and intergenerational relationships.

Rooted in the Kwanzaa principle of Ujamaa (cooperative economics), the celebration affirms our commitment to cultural preservation, economic empowerment, and the strengthening of community-based institutions.

This year, we gather to honor the living legacy of our elders and the work of our ancestors as we bloom together, grow together, plant new seeds together, and uplift the culture with intention, creativity, and love—elevating both individual and collective consciousness as we do our part to sustain our village for generations to come
