The Institute for the Preservation of African American Music and Art (IPAMA) is a community cultural hub in Milwaukee dedicated to engaging, empowering, enlightening, and advancing the community through exposure to a comprehensive and accurate presentation of the totality of the African American artistic experience, creating greater awareness, and generating appropriate appreciation of the value and contribution of African American artists over time throughout the entirety of world art history.
